Standard Edition Version
The Standard Edition is package in a "jewel case" with an insert of one of five collectable character cards from the movie. Additionally this is an enhanced CD featuring bonus mulitmedia content which includes one online trading card, screensavers, and buddy icons.

Limited Edition Version
Limited Edition features includes three CDs that include the music of all three film soundtracks.

Deluxe CD-DVD Edition
This package includes not only "The Return of the King" CD, but also a DVD that will feature bonus material including a "supertrailer", a "Return of the King" photo gallery from the recording sessions; film stills as well as poems and lyrics from the film. The DVD will also contain a special feature, "Use Well The Days: A Behind The Scenes Portrait of Howard Shore" and a 20 minute documentary focusing on Shore's work in London during the recording of the film score. It also includes a second Anne Lennox track.

Internet-only CD-DVD Limited Edition
Same content as the other CD-DVD package, but with added LOTR extras.


AVAILABILITY OF CD COPIES

Beginning 25 November, new copies of the standard CD can be obtained from various U.S. or Canadian sources for $14-20us. The standard version will be available in the Uk for about 10#, and in NZ for about $30nz. New copies of the Limited Edition 3-CD set can be obtained from North American sources for about $55us. The Limited Edition CD-DVD set will go on sale 9 December for about $30us.
