An off-beat love story centered on a car yard in New Plymouth, where an endurance competition is staged that requires entrants to place a hand on a Land Rover and keep it there to win the car. The world record for such a competition is over 5 days. Inspired by a true story, motivations such as avarice, poverty, revenge, loyalty and love are pitted against each other in this social experiment to reveal which drive is the strongest. Interestingly New Plymouth is the home town of both McCarten and Lynskey. This low budget light comedy is worth a view.
