This adventure take Hercules into the dreaded realm of the dead in Hades. Iole, a beautiful young virgin, begs Hercules to save her village where the earth has split open to reveal the mouth of hell. Hercules sets out on his mission, unaware that his stepmother Hera is stalking his every move. He faces treachery from a friend, seduction from the supposedly innocent Iole and puts his beloved wife Deiancira in mortal danger. Another visual delight, as are all of these Hercules telefeatures. Even if you are not a fan of Hercules or Kevin Sorbo, you will enjoy the New Zealand settings that they were filmed in - excellent cinematography.
