When Ellie returns to her childhood home, heavily pregnant, she’s reunited with her estranged mother Ivy. What begins as a tenuous reunion slowly turns terrifying. The old house conjures disturbing memories for Ellie who is haunted by the ghost of her dead sister Cara. As Ellie grows more erratic and confused, Ivy tries to confort her and contain Ellie's increasingly strange behaviours. But Ellies's anxiety over her baby, Cara, her guilty past and a supernatural curse on her unborn baby is sending her over the edge, but then she discovers long kept secrets. Frankly, I found the last 30 minutes to be a bit unclear, but I will not ruin your experience by stating my interpretation.
