Susan is a woman whose horrific history of abuse refuses to release its tormenting grip on her. Tanya is a lost child searching for the mother she has never known. As the two seek reconciliation with their pasts, their paths become intertwined, resulting in a surreal nightmare they won't wake up from until some form of blood soaked absolution has been exacted.

AVAILABILITY OF COPIES

There are DVD versions in NTSC R1, PAL R2 and R4. It is presented 1.78:1 16:9 Widescreen with spoken English 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround. Extras include music video 'Damn Laser Vampires' and 'Knot Nine'. Most DVD offerings also include the director's 1976 short, 'Circadian Rhythms'. There are no English subtitles. The German version also contains a spoken German 5.1 Dolby Digital track and a German subtitle option. The US version sells for about $15us, the UK version about 10#, the Au/NZ one about $20 and the German version under 10eur.

There are two Blu-ray offerings from Germany. They both have the same basic specs of being All Regions 1080i 1.78:1 (16x9) with spoken DTS-HD MA 5.1 German and spoken DTS-HD MA 5.1 English tracks. There are no subtitles. One version contains 4 additional minutes that was considered too extreme for some markets. That "Uncut" package also contains a DVD version of the movie. Extras include two front forced German trailers, the two music videos mentioned above and seven other German trailers (not forced). There also is a copy of the "Wound' trailer with original spoken English and German subtitles. The single disc version sells for about 10eur and the two disc "uncut" package sells for about 25eur.
